Aftercare

Swelling or bruising may occur after treatment. It varies by individual and usually disappears within 1–2 weeks.
We recommend waiting 2–3 hours before washing your face or applying makeup.
Please avoid alcohol, smoking, meridian massage, strenuous exercise, swimming, steam rooms and saunas for one week.
Please take the antibiotics prescribed after treatment.
For about 2–3 weeks after treatment, avoid pressing or putting pressure on the treated area.
If you notice any unusual reaction at the treated area, contact the clinic immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Juvelook Volume different from ordinary filler?

With ordinary filler the injected material itself becomes the volume. With Juvelook Volume your skin produces its own collagen after injection, so there is little foreign feeling, the result is natural, and the effect appears gradually from about 2 weeks rather than immediately.

When do results appear?

Volume starts to build from about 2 weeks after treatment as collagen forms. Swelling right after treatment is a temporary reaction, not the volume effect.

I heard nodules (lumps) can form. Is it safe?

Nodules can occur when the product is insufficiently hydrated or a large amount is injected in one spot. We use product hydrated for at least 24 hours and design the injection sites to reduce this risk.

Which areas can be treated?

Any area of the face that looks sunken — smile lines, lateral and front cheeks, temples, around the mouth. The under-eye area is treated through Under-eye Chaoreum and the backs of the hands through the Hand Chaoreum programs.

Can I return to daily life right after treatment?

Yes. Makeup and face washing are fine after 2–3 hours; just avoid pressing on the treated area for 2–3 weeks.

How many Juvelook Volume sessions are needed?

It depends on the degree of hollowness, but usually 3 sessions at 4-week intervals, followed by maintenance every 6–12 months. The number and spacing of sessions are planned at your first consultation.

Can it be combined with hyaluronic acid filler?

Yes. We often use filler where immediate volume is needed and Juvelook Volume for wider hollowness and firmness. Areas and order are decided during consultation.
